Your journey begins with a thrilling mountain flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. From Lukla, the trail follows the scenic Dudh Koshi River, crossing suspension bridges decorated with prayer flags. Along the way, you’ll pass through charming Sherpa villages, mani walls, chortens, prayer wheels, and ancient monasteries.
The highlight of the trek is reaching Namche Bazaar (3,438m), the largest and most vibrant Sherpa town in the region. From here, you’ll hike to the famous Everest View Hotel, one of the best viewpoints to see Mount Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other Himalayan giants without climbing to extreme altitudes.
